Day 86 – Bath to Oxford

We went for a two-hour stroll around the city of Bath. The most exciting things that we saw were some circular boulevards that had been there for over two hundred years and the canal that runs through the city. Britain has a large network of man-made canals (that were built before the train was invented) and I think that one day I would like to travel on a canal boat around somewhere. There are Christmas markets on at the moment and I really admire the commitment of people to trudge on through the harsh weather and still have such merry spirits.
