... and some sandwiches for tomorrow. We are going to the zoo tomorrow and it will probably be very expensive to eat. We headed back to the hostel and made dinner. It was delicious, Heather thinks it was the best fajita of her life. We are now headed off to have showers and wash off our day. Also so we can apply some aftersun since we got a bit burnt on our walk today. Can't wait for the zoo tomorrow! Crikey!
... and a lady sang some classics in the corner. The next day was another fun filled day! A day at the Koala Sanctuary!! Greeted by brush turkeys, water dragons and birds whilst drinking our morning coffees before even entering the wildlife park. The little pests wanted some of our muffin! Then we squandered into the largest and first ever koala sanctuary! With flying foxes, cockatoos, parrots first. Then ...
... in Cairns! He was doing a deep sea diving course out on the Great Barrier Reef, and I thought that a northern tropical tourist town would be a great place to find a job! It turns out, though, that if you're not on a boat out on the reef everyday... Cairns is actually kind of boring. And full of bats. Huge flying foxes! That smell terrible! And make a lot of noise all day (when they should be sleeping??) So, I soon made plans to leave.
But first: a road trip! ...
... dinner the drinking games start and there's even a dance floor area that people can plug their iPod into. At this point we spot this guy, the spit of Justin Bieber. After a few beers, it's time to leave the kids be kids, so headed off to bed Fri 21st Slept alright, just a bit uncomfortable.
