    ... managed to find a somewhat quiet spot away from the crowds to have a light lunch and do some people watching. One of the streets is so narrow that they have a street light that controls traffic traveling one way at a time. The red light is so long that motorists have to turn their cars off while they wait for the green light!!     Mark and I are travel weary and just can't get enthused about any more walking up and down on these *********e walkways. We wandered about Ravello and it got so blistering hot we decided to go to the pool. By the time we did the obligatory shower and foot wash we felt chilled and the sun disappeared so we didn't swim.     ... at a boat hire place along the waterfront. We called by on the way back from our walk. the original guys wasnt there but another guy managed to sort out the booking for us. He told us the pier that we'd be picked up from and showed me a picture of the type of boat we'd travel in.     Marcello was very friendly and chatty. Upon arrival, the hotel staff was also very nice and friendly. It is a little unnerving when they take your passport at all the hotels during registration for several hours. It is some law in Italy that they always do it. I now have it back, so all is good.
