... many stately homes around here. Next day we caught the train(it was meant to be the steam train but it was out of action) to Whitby where of course Captain Cook came from. It is a very lovely seaside town, but unfortunately the weather 'turned' and it was et and cold so we caught the bus home. That was fun as it was a double decker bus and of course we had to sit up top which gave us a brilliant ...
Should(n't) I be more worried?
... bowel movements?
I've always thought myself a 'passionate' sort of person - well, assumed - and it has occurred to me that I may be bottling things up. Then again, I also like to imagine that I'm a laid back kinda cat, bobbing along the ocean like a Jack Johnson song sheet in a Malibu bottle: I'm just taking it all in stride, baby. On the whole Scarborough hadn't changed much except for the better and I am glad I had my memory lane trip

The Adelphi, Hull
Driving down a residential street with nothing more than a Sat nav and our eyes to guide us we came across a building covered in graffiti. It said The Adelphi on it. Not sure what to make of it we'd arrived a good half an hour early with not much to do other than eat some food out of the tour bag. After a while a car pulled up and out got a man with long grey locks and an attitude that could have been straight out of the ...
