Crikey! What a beauty!
... the short walk down the high street to the beach. Noosa is like Alderly Edge-on-sea with high end shops, over-priced coffee, people drinking San Pelegreno instead of perfectly good tap water, and an array of cool bars and restaurants with waiters wearing shirts and ties. It was heaven! The only problem was that our travelling budget wouldn't allow us to enjoy the fruits of this bountiful hamlet of prosperity so we simply had to stroll around ...
Noosa :)

Gagaju Bush Camp and Fraser Island
... Italian and a sneaky bathe in their hot tub!
Meanwhile, the rain was still showing no signs of letting up. We stayed in Next Backpackers the night before our tour began as it was an early 6:45am start to leave for Fraser. Our guide was a fusty and rather dreary elderly Aussie called Murray who seemed a bit bored by the whole thing, which didn't inject much positivity into the (very damp) start of the trip. Each member of the group was to take turns ...
