I heart Prague
... castle complex in europe. And I love castles. The day started out with some slight tram hiccups; firstly we missed our stop and spent much longer than required exploring the city on tram! And then when we were jumping off at a stop, Ange got trapped inside when the doors shut and ash and I were instantly separated from Ange with nothing we could do but wave goodbye as she continued on the tram - London metro incident all over again!! ...
A history lesson just in the architecture!
... Castle, which is the largest Castle in the world and over looks the entire city! (great views). We checked out the Cathedral with jaw dropping stain glasses windows, the old royal palace, the basilica and Golden lane, which is a little medieval street inside the castle walls.

Prague and the Bone Church
... and a great catch up while enjoying homemade cake, local cheese, tea and wine. We then headed in to the Old Town for a late lunch at a beautiful, traditional Czech restaurant. The meal was huge and with the beer it nearly put us to sleep, but the cold air outside and the walk up to the Palace definitely woke us up. The view over the town from the Palace at dusk, and the beautiful (HUGE) buildings of the Palace and churches was a lovely way to finish a lovely day.

The Czech police are pretty loose units. They seem kitted up for an invasion at any given moment. They have more pockets with things that can kill you than I have ever seen in the one place at the one time.
