... the first time I got to go into it, so nice! They just finished a new fitness center that is amazing. It was not opened yet so we couldn't go inside. I kept taking pictures and annoying everyone, but I knew they would be glad later. I told them we have to document everything we do!
Mom and I arrived in Radford late afternoon. We met Caroline and Greg and Caroline's new apartment. It is a very nice apartment, but one of the roommates (who later that month moved out thank goodness) left quite a mess. Caroline does have a nice room and her own bathroom.

Today we cycled into Blacksburg via Radford VA. Route 654 , the old Baltimore road was serene and a wonderful early morning view of this part of Virginia. We rode into Newbern and were engaged with the early history of this tiny mountaintop village...the homes dated to the early 19th century.
