Today we visited Sanibel and Captiva Islands. These islands we have known and read about for a few years now and have always wanted to visit. They are situated just off the coast near Fort Myers beach about an hour's drive from Naples.

The weather was much improved over yesterday with temperatures in the mid 80's. You have to cross a …

However, I will do my best to showcase the wine!!! And David, of course. No not my husband, the marble statue in Florence!!!

... my pancake sense was tingling and we were able to find a Denny's. Suitably fuelled we started our Everglades journey. Our first stop was to find the Ochopee post office, which is the smallest post office in the US. As with most highways in the US the drive was essentially straight, so we ended up driving right past the post office. A quick u-turn later and we arrived at our destination. The post office is a small cabin open four hours a day. It ...
