... I can now say say I've seen all of Hollands sights, windmills, clogs, flowers, hookers and drugs. When I got back to the city centre, my bus dropped me off right next to the Rijk Museum. It was on the list for today anyway so I figured now was as good as time as any to go in. I should have waited. The museum was good but I really only saw half of it before I got really hangry. Today we were up early, as we had a flight to catch to Amsterdam. The Westbury Hotel was fantastic and the staff made everything easy for us. By the time we had checked out, the van had been pulled around to the front was the luggage already loaded. All we had to do was get in.

... and that was only a portion across the whole place. Obviously most of the attention is on tulips, but the other bulbs are similarly beautiful and often blend in really well with the tulips, ie. hyacinth as an edge (often as a wavy edge). There was not a colour or combination we didn't see, right through to the darkest of deep purple which is as close to black as what may naturally exist.
