    Wondered around the area. Initially felt quite uncomfortable but within couple of hours I realized im gunna love this place. We visited temples and they are beautiful. They make our western churches look cheap. Buddas everywhere in sight. Then Bangkok got us!!! The tourist attractions ended and the 24/7 parties began.

    Picture the scene of Khao San road…. Markets stalls and shops everywhere that turn into bars and clubs later ...

    ... The trains are all extra wide and the system is very organized. There are even arrows on the waiting platform helping people to figure out how to allow passengers off the train and people hoping to become passengers onto the train!     The boat trip
    This was the highlight of the excursion. About 20 of us boarded a long boat that seemed to sink dangerously into the water and lean threateningly to the sides. We sailed along the beautiful and seemingly never-ending canals and took photos of the beautiful traditional houses built on stilts on both sides.
