    ... gotten wine, I said I was ready to head back down. I wasn't sweaty. I tried to really *feel* the epic history of the flames, as I try to do when in ancient places. You guys, I don't really feel it. I respect the idea of it though, so that's good, right? On the way down the hill, the owner talked about how he'd been to Maachu Picchu and got so sick he had to stay in Cusco for three days.     ... br> Considered to to be the best preserved Roman theatre of the ancient world, the theatre, built between 161 and 80 AD, seated 15000 and was the site of all types of entertainment including gladiatorial battles. The acoustics are amazing and the site is now used for operas and concerts.

    ... of Chapmans Peak Drive except this was 200 km long!!The excellent road twisted and turned, hugging the coast around hairpin bends,with this aquamarine water always in sight. We got off the bus in Kas, this very cute seaside town. We walked down to the harbour and found a bench where we could enjoy an ice cold beer and our gourmet sarmies which we had made in Fethiye!!!
