      ... water (it was 20 Bart [$1] to go to the toilet-screw that) before we left. It was home time by then. Although we were stopping and starting all day and the weather turned crazy, we had a fun time and enjoyed it regardless of the circumstances. We tried to get shelter on the way home but there was no hope. Everyone was absolutely soaked and a few sassy girls on the boat weren't too happy. We made some good memories and got to see ...

      ... of which he was never without. The temples were beautiful, ornate and colorful. And the grounds were immaculate. People would take flowers and light incense, after talking to locals later we found out this was to bring luck. We made our way round the temples, before heading back to Patong.

      We found a nice looking Japanese restaurant for dinner before heading back to
      our hotel to crash out.

      ... Thai army helmet ( maybe for the bus ride home ?) but the shop owner is having lunch and isn't interested in a couple of Farangs high on caffeine.
      We stroll aimlessly back to the pick up site, via the fresh food markets. The smell is more than a little off putting, but Dale covers his nose while we sit on a grimy bench to rest my aching knee. Eventually after a little debate on navigation we find the pick up spot and head back to Patong, via roads I've never been on before. I feel ...

      ... to one of the beachfront restaurants for another thai dinner. Here we had the most delicious dessert - deep fried banana and coconut ice cream, yuuuummmm!!! It was a really nice way to spend our last night in paradise.

      I have attached some pictures of our room below too - if you ever get the chance to stay at Indigo Pearl, I highly recommend the pool pavilion.

      ... have a German chef, and it seems he has quite a reputation. The staff were really nice too, helpful. Even gave us a ride to our new hotel today.

      Very pleasantly surprised with this beach, it turned out to be our favorite, quiet, clean, lovely for swimming. YES. You are reading that correctly, I was swimming!

      Last night was Jeff's birthday. We found a sports bar on the beach with happy hour, and yippie!!! ...
