    ... the duration. In our almost 3 weeks here we have seen many guests come and go - many Swedes, Europeans, Russians but never an Australian! In fact there has been a dearth of Australians everywhere here which is surprising. We did manage to 'spot three Aussie blokes' (always the walk and dress are a dead giveaway ) while at the township of Patong one day! We spent most of our days in this ritual: getting up about 8, walk to the beach - I preferred Kata Noi to Kata ...

    ... After le elephants, we headed to what our guide kept calling the "monkey cave." I put that in quotes because when we walked up it was seemingly just a bunch of monkeys playing near a water tank.     ... healthy it was sad to see and we didnt take any photos, it didnt seem right. The trouble is Thailand banned logging so the working elephants were surplus and their owners only source of income was stripped from them hence they turned to tourism and the rides, i guess they do look after them.

    ... the outfits laid out for us. Once laying on the table the Thai women pull back the curtain between us and start laughing. I look at myself in a blue shirt and pants and over at Jake who is decked out in pink. Ha! These women were twisting our bodies every which way and some of the massage was genuinely painful.
