... thing about the city is that it acts like a ghost town. Hardly any cars on the streets, little houses and almost no people are visible. Between hotels, supermarket and other buildings is a huge distance and fields. I feel something lost in the communist- planned monumental city.

... tennis table and mike and I battled for who would have to sleep against the wall. I won. We played the owners a few times and I beat the main good guy, and he was very visibly unhappy about this. Burmese girls don't seem to ever take part in these kinds of activities and should stay behind the counter whist the men frolic a around. So I think he merely entertained me whilst we played and didn't expect me to actually be any good. The next game he visibly upped his play. Silly men. But ...
