The morning is bright and warm and we are leaving Stockholm. Before checking out of the Grand Hotel, we take a last walk over to the Palace and Gamla Stan. It is the first time we have seen Stortorget our first stop two-and-a-days ago, in the sunshine; we take more pictures.

Other than the fact that it is horribly expensive for Americans, Sweden is a nice, easy place to visit-especially after Russia. Everyone speaks English and wants to help ...

This morning we ate and visited some more before driving on to Tranas.  It took us about 4 hours and again, the drive was beautiful.  We took the highway this time for most of the trip so I can also say I have visited Goteborg, even if it was just to drive thru.  Karen's cousin met us at a Shell station and we are staying at her apartment.  When we got there, Nunne had other ...

Hello everyone! Thought I would quickly do an update, since we have not checked in, ion a while. We are fully immersed in Sweden. We had a lovely stay in Motala with our friend's Niclas's parents and now have arrived in Stockholm, where we will be until our return home. I will post some more pictures and some stories in a while!
