The slope conditions were best described as 'bulletproof' as it had melted yesterday but not seen the sun today. We got on fine until JJ tried to point out where he fell and swung across towards me. ... and the runs at the top were in great condition so we enjoyed cutting fresh tracks on corduroy. It is a great sound as we skied and were able to listen to the buzzing sound of skis over the tiny pisted ridges and being able to look back at our runs. It was so good we did it again! We tried to complete the run a third time but the T-bar had stopped working and showed no sign of starting and the cloud had closed in.

This made the decision for us to ski towards ...

... a different run. JJ wanted to be photographed going through the powder at the side of the run, so I obliged.
After this we were both feeling the effects of the piles of powder on the runs which made the skiing more forced than I prefer. Some of the runs had acquired soft moguls, which were fun to ski, but the heavy piles of snow were too randomly spaced and just made it difficult to get a rhythm going. So we set off for Saas Fee in the valley.
