Working in Paradise
... We got to brainstorm and think of all the things we could do to make the lives of our respective countries easier and to improve the way everything gets done. Who knows if anything will change, but in those 4 days we really managed to come up with a lot.
Being there for work, I didn't get to see the sights, but it was a great experience nevertheless. Puerto Vallarta was a much quieter place than expected - a lot more local tourism, which is nice to see.

I wasn’t hungry so I went for a walk around the village (it’s noticeably cooler at this altitude than down on the coast) returning to the bus at 3pm as advised. Unfortunately some of the other tourists weren’t as punctual and we didn’t head back to PV until almost an hour later.
The guy at reception recommended a place around the corner called Cuquita where I could get a massage 350 pesos for an hour which I did before walking ...

... Luiz's mother lives. Then lunch by the river at Mascota, under a palapa, followed by the home of Dona Isabella and Don Jose in El Rachito. Ending the day about 5:00 at the Hacienda Dona Engraicia to taste tequila...a long day but Freddy was right we say a very different side of this region than the PV beach community.

... us, is a combination of yurt and dome, a round structure on stilts with a thatched dome roof and which is big enough to contain a bed and table. She is writing novels for adolescents. We were a little way up the hill when a commotion started and a man ran down telling us to get up the side of the very narrow track because some bulls were loose and running down the hill. A woman hung over her wall telling us to get up on her wall quickly. We clung on until the bulls passed ...
