... the last to leave before they shut the doors. One more church to visit before calling it a day. We went to Mass here with about 10 others.
Now it was time to get some tapas on Las Ramblas for our last night in Barcelona. Good but expensive when you figure the exchange rate. Oh we'll, everything is expensive when you think that way.
Tomorrow, board the ship for more Mediterranean memories.

I am not sure when its construction began, but they reckon they have at least another 20 years worth of work still to do on it!!

It looks as though they are working hard to get it finished as there were many cranes and workmen crawling all over it.

There were a lot of people visiting today, which was a shame as didn't have very much time. So we didn't wait in the line to get the tickets to go inside. So that is ...

... brings, then venture out "to see what I could see". Honestly? Not a lot. Think average suburb on a school night, but with a few more people wandering about. Then I spied it. A xarcuteria!! Full of jamon. Lovely, yummy jamon. Now I'm sure it won't be the only one I see in Spain, but this must be one of the fanciest. ... Metro, it was a long walk to Park Guell and along the way we were offered beautiful views of Sagrada Familia. Along the way to the parks there were tons of souvenir sellers. Most of them were of North African, Indian and Arabic descents. But the weird thing is they had set up all their gear on sheets on the ground. One guy had ear rings hooked on top of an umbrella. One of these umbrellas caught Lucky’s eyes and she bought a few ear rings for herself.
