... is a modern, clean, fresh, attractive, spacious city that shows little or no signs of the impact of the Global Financial Crisis that Spain has suffered, with the possible exception of not as many tower cranes as might be expected of a city of this size and a couple of high rise developments that may have been abandoned. ... Família, it was simply awe inspiring. Such vision! There are people that live to change the world, Gaudi was definitely one of these. I got a lot of pleasure from the general architecture and the buzz of the city. It's fairly small with a lot to see, I walked most places and covered all the things I wanted to in two and a half days, I have the blisters to prove it (a quick stop at the pharmacy to buy ...

... walking. Then it's dark and turned cold....mmm a long walk back as I'd walked for about an hour and a half without realising, so it was a long walk back. Interesting to stroll back along the path instead of the beach. Many shops are closed, restaurants just thinking about opening. I don't really stop, was very tempted but bot sure how far away I was and it would only be colder later, so kept going. Got back to the motel about 7 and the ...
