Midge and I then took some pix of stuff as we wandered back to the main market square... except it's a circle.
The mini-Eiffel Tower is for the local radio station. Dalat is the seat of old French colonialism in Vietnam. It was possibly the only town that remained entirely untouched during the American war.

Down to wait for the bus at 7am and Ant tries to get money out an ATM opposite the hostel, it gives him money and then eats his card and doesn't give it back! Ffs! Then the bus arrives and they try to help but it's gone and it's too early for the telephone number on the ATM to be open so we are screwed. Have to just go. It was the bumpiest journey ever!! SO after receiving some easy directions and a short walk to the Enjoy Dalat Hostel we were happily welcomed by our 'adoptive Vietnamese family', I say that because that is exactly how they made us feel...like part of the family.
