Last day on the road
... it was now 8 pm and we were take to check in and meet up with Rino and his dedicated Assistant, translator and friend Samuela. The meal featured seafood but they were very aware of my special needs and plenty on vegetarian options were given. Most notable of the seafood were the giant Mantis shrimp. Last day on the road
... we arrived at night I was unaware until morning that our rooms overlooked the sea. Rimini has a very long stretch of beach rivaling Miami in length. The next morning, Thursday, we had a business meeting with Rino at the glass bottling facility. Since Rino is very passionate about food he has a on staff chef and incredible little kitchen adjacent to his office and conference room. University begins
... out and had a great party in his honour!
Last Friday I had an Italian test, with which we ended the course. (Don't worry Mummy and Daddy, I passed with 25/30!). After the exam, in true Italian style, we were treated to a free feast of sangia, vino and nibbles including pizza, various hams and cheeses and other delicious Italian treats! I am hoping this is a regular occurrence after an exam!!!

Still alive and kicking
... we act things out. A particular favourite so far is trying to mime what blu-tac is..... This involves taking a postcard and pretending to stick it on the wall. The first time we tried this, the shop keeper asked us if we meant "camera" followed quickly by "film" before we managed to get across the meaning! Nevertheless, we have since found some blu-tac!
