Barry's view - I was nervous about my first train experience in Europe. But we got the right train at Salzburg, after I asked 3-4 people to be sure. It was a 6 hour trip through the Alps. Despite my fear of heights, I was fine and glad not to be driving. Had to change trains once and figured that out too. Tomorrow morning we head out for Salzburg. I'm excited for this weekend, and our time there.
We are planning to do a Salt Mine tour, visit the fortress in the old town, and take a cable car into the mountains.

We also visited St. Mark's Square which is an amazing sight! There are huge statues and buildings with ornate detail!
We loved the atmosphere with mini bands playing Italian music at many of the outdoor restaurants. What a place this is!
... yet. Next week I have 3 more exams but after that I will finally be in the clear for a little while. Time has been flying by and I can't believe I'm almost to the 2 month mark already. This weekend I will be headed to Poland to discover my roots and experience Auschwitz, one of the most terrifying concentration camps in all of history.
