Our time in Milan has now come to an official end, but that means that our time in Venice has just begun! We took our cute little fiat across from Milan to Venice, a short three hour drive away. Getting out of the city was hectic, because we could not complete one turn without the GPS telling us it was recalculating. Finally we made it onto the …

We ended by sharing some fried calamari and shrimp, and the shrimp were the sweetest tasting crustaceans we had ever tried. The place was amazing.

It was hard to put our two suitcases in a place where we could organize for the trip home. Since we had seen the area the included walking tour was going, we decided to skip it. Visiting another church was not something we wanted to do ...

We arrived in Paris 30 minutes late, but it was a comfortable 1.5 hour flight. It was a budget airline (no food provided) so we bought a cup of tea and a muffin as a late lunch for €4 the food was at least decent.
Our transfer was at the airport to meet us. 7 of us went in a small bus and then Annette, Tricia and I went in a ...
