Smell: The smell of coconut during our visit to the coconut candy workshop. The morning smell in Saigon..where all food stalls open up for breakfast selling pho, rice, noodles, everything. Better get there fast, as by noon they sell out and close.

Cruisy day in the city
... cathedral with much detailed carvings, and the service was a good experience. I usually go to the mandir on a Sunday, but to me as long as I'm in a place of worship where you can channel your thoughts away from the material world, I find it very therapeutic. Plus I made a friend with a Vietnamese Caribbean dude which was interesting! What a gorgeous hotel, room is fantastic with free wifi and the bathroom is fabulous - great shower. Location is perfect right next to the AB Tower and a 10 min walk to all the bars & restaurants
