We checked in to our motel early this afternoon. It was really hot, about 40 degrees celcius. Bella got to stay in the comfort of our pet friendly air-conditioned hotel while we enjoyed the park. We decided to spend a day at Soak City. Compared to water resorts we've visisted at Wisconsin Dells and Disney World, doesn't measure up. If you have little kids it's great. For $30 a piece teenagers were bored within 2 hours. No adventure thrill slides for them. No big slides, mini wave pull and floating on the "lazy river" found cigarette butts …
... people do but there were droves of them taking the camping gear or pillows and blankets and heading to the islands. Some of the girls had more than they could carry.
Next stop was the car show in Sandusky which is a charming town and the car show took up about 8-10 blocks parked on both sides with some impressive looking cars. In fact I have not seen so many GTO's at the same show, what a fun time!!

We got here and had to jump in the car to start checking out the area. We drove to the peninsula where Cedar Point is located (amusement park) but they have their own entrance and since they were not open until the weekend we had to turn around.

We woke up early today and did the 5 minute drive to Cedar Point theme park. ( if you go on you tube and look up cedar point rollor coasters you will see some of the ones I went on. I went on all of them ( millemioum force, sky scraper, speed freak Etc) . After 7 hours at the theme park we drove to Cleveland (an hour up the road) as we are flying to Miami tomorrow.
