Heading to Hong Kong

9.45am flight out of Sydney.
Sitting in the A380 and to be honest- Economy is Economy. I don't see the difference. I didn't get to see Business or First- but I'm sure they are different.
Our meal was beef and rice.
I hear a lot if complaints about Qantas staff- and so far all of them have been amazing. They are dealing with a lot of Asians and seem to be doing very well.
We have 4 hours till we land in Sunny and Hot Hong ...

We were getting organised to leave when we received a call from our travel agent to advise our flight with Etihad had been cancelled and we were being transferred to Thai Airways with departure nearly an hour later.

... place every Saturday evening at 8.30pm and the setting on the Harbour was just magical. Everyone was wrapped up warmly as it was a cold clear night with thousands of people enjoying the display.

We have a small room (called a Shoebox) for tonight but will be moved to a larger one tomorrow. It’s small but would be OK for one person overnight but a bit small to fit our bags etc in.

... admired the Big Merino statue, had some lunch at the nice cafe with a very welcoming log fire and then headed off again on our trip to Sydney, we arrived there about 4.30pm, Corina, Danial, Brenton and Amelya were outside to greet us, this is the first time Merv "Poppy" has met Amelya and he last saw Brenton when he was only a few weeks old, so it was a special moment, which just kept on getting better as the grandkids got to know their "Poppy" and he, them.

... the Clarence St. Cyclery bike shop and bought two Huffy bikes. we tied the bikes to the roof of the car with string and headed off back to the apartment to drop the car off. after we dropped the car off, we went inside to change into shorts and a shirt because it was really hot. we then filled our travel mugs up with ice and water and applied sunscreen to avoid sun burns. after that, we were off into the city of Sydney. we saw lots of fun and exciting ...
