... in many ways. The ambient music seems to fit with the feel perfectly, the location allows access from both, the busy pedestrian street as well as the quite street running parallel to it. I'm quickly informed of the offerings by a well presented male waiter who although casual in dress exhibits a form of sophistication. For a good hour I savour my glass of wine and get lost in the moment, all of the worries I had before arriving soon ...

      A Few Silly Observations

A travel blog entry by tanya.lesiuk on Sep 09, 2014

      - It's rare to see a local drinking a beer on the beach or in a cafe, the freddo espresso is the only beverage of choice on a hot day, so well that means everyday here. - Bathrooms 95 percent of the time have no locks, ask me why? Being only 2 metres from the water's edge, John had checked that the Mediterranean tides only rise and fall by less then 20 ...

There were singers in every lounge or hallway or open atrium singing anything from Desperado to Jimmy Buffet, all laid-back and slow music. It was a lovely evening.O... one other note... we had to surrender our passports to Carnival tonight. Our passports will be stamped by Greece authorities and returned to us sometime before ...

... grew so tall that the olive trees closest to the stream received only partial sunlight. It was great to see the cleared area which has opened up the grove, and even more exciting to see that a neighbouring grove has been cleared, right to the ditch that separates the two properties and - that grove also has a cut away hillside as my grove has! No-one has ever explained this phenomenon. Was the ...
