... There were information booths for hiking, climbing, skiing, hunting, and even arm wrestling, but we were drawn to the hiking and camping booth. Very spontaneously, we decided to sign up right then for a hiking trip through Abisko National Park, located in the Swedish Lapland above the Arctic Circle. Hike to the lake

Today we did the 6km hike up to Trollsjon lake at the end of our valley. Quite a strenuous hike as it climbs quite quickly. Then there is an uphill section just before the lake. You cannot see the lake until you get there. It is the clearest lake in Europe. On the way back down we saw our first reindeer , which was very cool.
