... br> Very few 'antiques' around. :-(

And back on to a bus for the heat of the day.
Decided on the bus to KL that I was a bit washed out, and instead of moving along immediately to Indonesia I would take a day off to sleep myself out and generally vegetate.
Must have needed it, I was asleep by 7.30, woke at 4am, and added 4 hours after that.

... turtles go and probably squished a couple. Idiots.

So we turned our attention back to the mother who had covered her eggs. One of the guides began to dig up her nest to collect the eggs to be brought to the turtle sanctuary. That was the worst bit. They put the eggs into a plastic shopping bag.

They say that all of this is for the benefit of the turtles, but I wonder how much this is actually helping them and how much is just helping the guides pockets.

The long island ice tea nearly knocked my socks off….and Grey’s too! Thank goodness we shared! This is the routine for the next few nights! Not bad!

... standing up in the unstable boat and possibly falling out. After many failed attempts by Me and Boff to catch them one of the boys handed us his fire-fly - nice of him! There only tiny little bugs and they walk all over your hands jumping from one to the other all the while glowing bright green.

When the trip was over we hastily headed back to the dock, maybe a bit to fast as the driver took us into a tree and Boff was nearly taken out by a low hanging branch. ...
