... some shade! Now for the return journey; we left JB bus terminal at 1440 and were back in the hotel by 1645; not bad!

This evening after a couple of cold Tigers (I must get some of the glasses) it was off to eat at the Tekka Centre again. Tonight it was aloo gohbi and an Afghani naan for me and John had the butter chicken and garlic naan. I tried ginger tea (fantastic) now I know why it’s so popular.

Today I woke up in Singapore. I am interested to see what this country looks like as I don't really know much about it. Mine, Josh and Emmy's plans today were to go to the infamous Singapore Zoo (rated one of, if not the best zoo in the world). I also read that if we get there before 10am we will be able to attend an event called 'breakfast with the orangutans'.

Luckily we docked an hour earlier and managed to get off within good time to get to the zoo in just a half an hour ...

... Bentley, Lamborghini, you name it! They have a good amount of underground tunnels which allows you to get out of the heat, but also houses a lot of restaurants and shopping areas. The food was great, weather was nice and warm, beautiful waterfront and interesting culture. We are now off to Myanmar (Burma). Our first stop is Yangon. I'm super excited to see this beautiful country! Also, as a side note, the time difference is 11.5 hours ahead of EST....weird right? Until then... ...
