Chance meetings
... the service were to be held only a few 100 meters from our apartment in Kungsholmen on Thursday. It seemed destine that we meet.
We made plans to see them after the services. They came to our apartment for a quick visit. They returned to Wisconsin on Friday. I know we will see them again...it was just that kind of "connection".

Idag har vi varit i Visby & tittat på ringmuren samt hela och halva kyrkor;-) Emelie lyckades fånga kyparens rymningsbenägna vin i knäet:-) Sedan fika på ryska gården och systembolaget & åter till vårt trevliga hus i Brissund:-)

A Nice Bike Ride
... English spoken by the staff in the Tourist Information centre was flawless, at least as good as, if not better than one normally hears being spoken by equivalent – aged young people in the UK.
So we hot footed or pedaled out to the store, situated in a typical US style out of town shopping development and I successfully purchased two pairs, one blue one black. Why two? Well it was 150 SEK for one pair and two for 200 so I couldn’t resist the bargain!

Third leg of the journey to Farosund
... sign for the school. I asked the bus driver and though she didn't speak English, I pronounced it close enough to where she understood me and pointed me in the right direction. It was very hot and humid (for me anyway). After walking 5-6 blocks, I found the school but it was locked and no one was around. I tried calling the only number I had in my paperwork ...
