We bumped into our favourite Aussies (you're a Scotsman now Justin!) Matt and Fiona on our last night, sadly not enough time to do Halloween as we were off to the kite surfing paradise of Mui Ne at 7a.m.

Efter nagra timmar i vatten bar det av till undervattensvarrlden, spana in korallrev i ett jattekvarium. Deta basta med denna upplevelse var att man akte rullband istallet for att sjalv ga, alska slohet.

... to hire a surf board at the beach, absolutely no grip on it what so ever and no leash either. The waves were awesome though.

Afterwards we played some drinking games on the beach and most people got pretty smashed, got the bust back to the hotel and went for a snooze before dinner ! Ate in an Aussie bar and had the most expensive and worst steak i have ever had, bad move. Headed out for a few beers after but went to bed reasonably early.

... Vodka was flowing and we met up with this Irish couple who happened to invent drinking!! So went from "normal" to abnormal Fish tanks. oouchh !! We Moon-Shuffled back to the guesthouse, in this case the Son or the Daughter and found the gate almost shut to the ground! Okay so my " Rambo" Blondie decided to crawl under it and open the gate. Yeah right!! Thatīs were we met up with the Son..!! He was on the nightshift and almost took Blondie out with some Kung Fu and Teak ...

Do not order Chicken Fried rice here, you just get rice with a fried chicken dumped on top! Certainly very hard to eat with chop sticks - tasted ok - but not quite what i was expecting.
The food here in general is good - but not as good as Khmer food (Cambodian) - the diet is pretty much rice or noodles for lunch and then the opposite for dinner. At least my stomach knows what to expect.

... pool area. My heart did a little somersault when I saw the small pool, surrounded by plumeria trees, bordered by cushy chairs, canvas umbrellas and wooden tables and chairs. I had the pool ALL to myself, ALL day long. I was left completely alone, no yellow rainbows to dodge, pesky sand to brush off or hagglers selling sunglasses to shoo away. ... dives. Chris completed his intro/discovery dive and also snorkeled for the second sessionMet up with Graham, Caroline and their son ferguson with whom Chris spent the rest of the day with. Back at dive centre had a few beers before heading back to hotel. Met up with Graham etc for the evening meal, drinks…….

Picked up from hotel at 8:30 for boat trip out to islands – First stop also visited aquarium. Cruised to second spot for a swim ...

... onto floaties and is poured red wine from a small foam boat, with the music still blaring. Really good atmosphere.

Dumped bags at hotel and set of to find breakfast. Went to rainbow diver's club for pancakes and smoothies. Amber had definitely decided to dive and persuaded gemma, dave and steph to accompany her. eventually went with a company called vietnam explorer, who were substantially cheaper with no loss of quality.

The rest of the day consisted of a visit to Bai Ai beach ...
