Fast sail all the way over to Otranto and even had the fun of Dolphins playing at the helm. Busy shipping lanes overnight kept us all on our toes and Eric plenty of time to practise his lights. Winds were so favourable we headed on South to M.Saint Di Leuca still arriving by 3pm in time for a cocktail on shore before getting Ellis already for next early departure ...

The pasta, one with monkfish and one a bit more generic, was clearly homemade. The entrées were mostly fish, with some combination of prawns, calamari, and swordfish. We then had to try more classic desserts (spumoni, semifreddo and a coconut cake -- all delicious), since there was no gelato shop nearby. Now off to bed and another ...

... the time came to switch to the dryer someone had poached our dryer. This older gentleman turned out to either know or be related to the guy who took our dryer, so he yelled at him, pulled all the guy's wet clothes out of the dryer and told us to put ours in. Then he got the owner to give us the 10 E in change we were owed out of the machine that wasn't working correctly. He also taught us to count in Italian while we ...
