      ... arrived!

Thought I was lucky getting a bus back direct to "do Balsa" (the ferry) rather than changing in Vila – what they don’t tell you, is, like on the way there, it goes to every corner in the hinterland of them there hills – it was an excruciating hot and packed and sticky ride but just made the very slow 5pm ferry. Over the next few days Sam and Renato showed us around the nighbouring area which was just spectacular. It had all the beauty of Thailand and South East Asia but with the waves of the Atlantic and the culture of Latin America. It was now the knock out stages of the tournament and since Renato ...

      Day 15: Maranduba

After a day away, it was nice to get back to normality and head to Pulso beach for one last chilled day - by car this time, the kayak was left at home.

We were one man down, as Mikey had a spot of sunstroke, 6 days on the beers, as well as being up at 6am with Helena had taken its toll!

Activity for the day was Fresco ball, ...
