The highlight was definitely early morning paddle boarding on the last day and having 3 or 4 turtles swimming around the boards – that was pretty cool! It was a great weekend although I did get a 'little’ (ok a lot, I would say close to tomato coloured) burnt, not really surprising given my milk bottle complexion I suppose... ... we made sure we caught the Brazil Chilli match in the local bar!! It was great to see everyone in their yellow and green colours, along with their kids, grandparents and dogs!
During the five days we visited some amazing beaches, did a spot of surfing, ate like royalty and generally spoilt rotten.
Sam and Renato love to travel so decided to join us on our next stop in Paraty!
... and ball on the beach....... awesome fun, although we learned playing Brazilian beach games next to Brazilians is a bad idea if you want to impress.
A much more relaxed night at Conveis - just Mikey, Anna, Helena and myself left, and a crazy electric storm to keep us company.
Traveller tip of the day: When you get sunstroke, best to stay near a toilet.
