      ... games someone sure is losing out on missed revenue....Tom said that for the 15 home games per year the town couldn't afford to add further seating and that the triple A teams only bring in 500 people per game...So although it's a nice stadium..it is one of the smaller ones.
      March 23....picked up our friends Rachelle and Dave from the airport in Tampa...making plans for the week with them. ...

      ... like oranges and grapefruit. They have great short films and displays worth checking out.
      Oddly enough you don't see much transit activity anywhere down here...seems to be very much a car culture with everyone driving and very little carpooling it seems..
      There are many restaurants around the few blocks and we chose to eat dinner at Thai Thani....Pad Thai ,spring rolls and an peppered steak stir fry filled the void! ...

      Monday 16/3 - After fueling up we headed off to Tampa or more specifically Tarpon Springs which is a small Greek fishing village about 20 miles north of Tampa. It was recommended to us by some people we met on the cruise. Our GPS said it would be a 1 hr 45 min drive but it ended up taking us 2 1/2 hours due to traffic leaving Orlando and then around Tampa. The amount of traffic congestion is just amazing considering the roads are 3 and 4 lanes wide in one direction ...

      ... We woke up fairly early to go to Busch gardens, which was a huge, amusement park with heaps of roller coasters and rides. They also had animal exhibits where we saw alligators, crocs, big cats, elephants, anteaters and other various animals and also an Australian exhibit mostly with kangaroos and wallabies which people were hand-feeding.       ... us across the highway from where we were supposed to be, but despite the thing, we found the hotel. We just relaxed and caught up on some e-mail and blogs, and decided to do the wash Sunday. (Today). Around five-thirty, we decided to go to the restaurant next door to eat.
