    ... regaled us with her stories! She was testing our shock and humour levels. This is a censored site so I can't retell the tales! A sunset swim at a new close by beach was fabulous for the snorkelers as well as bobbers. I am not sure how those travel journalists can rate best beaches of the world.     ... off two brilliant green parrots did a flyby! Our evening ended with a steel band serenade. Today we needed a relax day. It is pretty taxing touring and deciding what and where to eat. Chose nearby Pigeon Beach with turquoise waters and flour like sand and at least 50 white tourists (our first sighting of more than 4)! Great place to unwind, bob, snorkel and read! ...

    Better than any story we were reading was the entertainment of the Castara Bay fishermen who were setting out their 160m seine net to capture anchovies. It was a 7 man job! We also discovered that a delicious delicacy of Tobagans is pelican meat. As we were watching the round up of the catch a man threw a short log at the fish raiding pelicans which took one out( see picture). Their hour and a half job yielded only a sand pail of anchovies.
