... choppy so it was best to be seated on this trip! We pulled into port at 7 p.m., waited for the RV to be delivered to the Badger parking lot on a beautiful, sunny evening. This is the last leg of our trip, spending the night at Cartier Park in Ludington. Tomorrow we head back to Pleasant Lake.... Many memories and feeling so ...

So far have traveled through Manistee (small, homes are older and not as kept as in Ludington but still cute; Cadillac, Kalkaska -tired looking, and Petosky - really really charming & picturesque - loved the vintage flavor). Left at 0700 and rode 500 feet for breakfast because the sky looked like it was going to open up.

We rode by the lake almost all day today. Just really gorgeous scenery.

... to explore and geocache. We arrived to Ludington, MI and camped at Poncho's Pond, #225, a very nice site for the RV and tent. More food needed for the two bottomless pits, prompted a trip for groceries.

6-21-14 – Saturday and Summer Equinox (the Longest Day of the Year).

On the way to Ludington State Park, we did a couple geocaches. At the park the boys had a chance to ...

SS Badger Ferry crossing Lake Michigan to Manitowoc, WI - 4 hours saves 3 days of travel!

Up early to be at the port before 8 am. Mazy stayed in the RV …hope the calming treat helped her relax for the 4 hour crossing. We were a little nervous about that since we were not allowed to drive the RV onto the Ferry. We landed at port Manitowoc, WI. Mazy was ...
