Our last full day in Venice started fairly early as I wanted to go inside St. Marks Basilica...I think if I drag Mary into one more church or museum I'll be in all sorts of trouble as she finds it boring!! We didn't see them because we went a weekend too early and in the rain, but we hear you can't move during the final weekend of the season. Other than the crowds, it's a little more mellow here than in New Orleans.
