Our next stop was Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin which is the county seat of Door County. Door County is roughly 300 miles of coastline stretching along the eastern Lake Michigan side and the western Green Bay side of the peninsula islands with quaint New England type towns and communities. After a couple of flights - one being on the new 787 Dreamliner, and a 45 minute drive- we arrived at the Beach Harbor resort.
Got a nap in before we all met up to plan the next day, had a bite to eat and off to bed.
I did see MadMen season finale.
We do have wifi, but it's not great. Also, for some reason, my room smells like french onion ...
... loves to drive so he didn't mind and it gave us a chance to see more of Wisconsin which we really enjoyed as well, so not a bad trade off. We just knew ahead of time our experience wouldn't be ideal. In the end though it was a fabulous part of our trip and we were glad we went.
