... spoke no english and a rather odd south african chap who spoke only a few words of spanish. Through this guys translation we managed to figure out which room we were staying in and even get a few eggs and some pasta to make dinner.

Today as per usual was another magnificent day on the roads of Argentina. Our hotel in Malagure was more like a old ghost set of cells from the 1920s. There was next to no lighting along the corridors and everything was simply painted black or in old wood, very ghostly indeed. The laundry room looked just like a museum with old spin dryers and mangles all painted in old green paint and still with brass makers plates listing them as being made in Sheffield in 1937. ...

... Fausto farewell as we'd taken enough of his time and sadly concluded that there was nothing more that he could do for us. At that point, we took stock. We had a 19" diameter front tube (the rear is 17") and we had two pressurized tire repair cannisters - the ones that inflate and seal a leaking tire.
