... despite the metal fence separating us. Yet when Nathan(2) went over to pet him, he wagged his little goat tail like a happy dog!

Yesterday the two Nathans got on a train to Edinburgh. From there they will spend a week exploring Scotland and Ireland, giving me a chance to catch up on the work and chores that have piled up while I was away. It will be nice to have them back in a week, but after a month of adventures I think I'm going to enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet.

... a hard to describe the scenes but they were something quite special.

We returned to our hotel, collected our bags and caught the taxi to the airport. There are quite a few luxury cars used as taxis and ours to the airport was a Mercedes. That was the good part. ... sized living room with huge dining table and full kitchen. The most interesting. Thing we noted was the washer/dryer unit. It is one, not two units underneath the counter. It washes and drys in the same drum. That will be interesting to use.

As soon as we dropped our bags we decided to start exploring. We walked about 3 short blocks up to Oxford street. We did some window shopping and pretty much just checked out what the London style is. Hungry, ...

Saturday 12 April Our flight felt very quick from Washington and we barely got an hour of sleep before arriving in Frankfurt then changing planes to get to London. The plane was nice and new and had a novel feature of a front and underneath live view from the plane. It was very interesting during take off and landing!
