We just had our mini gathering at Marco Hotel and we had a great time spending our Bible Study near its pool because it's very peaceful and it has very nice ambiance.
... yesterday especially for me and Gab. After lunch everybody went to famous and the I guess the most adventurous ride of all which was the water rafting. I would have loved to try this as well but I don't mind being with my 1 year old son. There's a lot of next time anyway. So according to them this tiring and challenging ride was a 4 hour fight with the rapids. That was pretty tiring and also they had some cave adventures on the side. This was pretty fun ...
... would consider very little. I think ultimately what it comes down to is, you have to surround yourself with people that bring positive energy and lots of laughter to your life. I used to hear that the more you laugh, the more you'll cry, but I think it can work the other way around too, the more sadness you've gone through, the more laughter you need to balance it out. So if there's one thing I want to reflect about the people of CDO, specifically the typhoon victims ...
... skills with strangers: offering food goes a long way. So the man was an American and his wife was Filipino. I showed her the map and she decided to help me figure out how to get there exactly. I mean I already had a good idea, but its not as clear cut as you'd ...
For our last night, we wanted to see some bands to hear some local music. Unfortunately, most of the bands are show-bands and only play cover songs. We got to talk to some of the musicians, judging by the way they play, they really know their craft but due to low demands for original music they are forced to playing cover songs to earn some cash.
I would love go back to CDO and hear some originals one day.

This hotel is one of the best in Cagayan de Oro, the service is great especially with foods & beverages. The pool is clean and big also the hot pool has nice view. But some of the cottages are very far from the pool & restaurant and you need to walk for a minute. But in a whole, it's nice to stay there.
