      Another day another island, and beautiful weather yet again as we come in towards Tortola. The good news is that we are the only ship in Roadtown, the bad news is that the new jetty and cruise dock is not yet completed so we are tendering.       ... to Bournemouths Celebrity Hotel, mind you we were the only celebrity's there, we went for a wander to the famous Bournemouth Pier which is in a sad state of disrepair really. The operative word appeared to be NO ! Everywhere signs saying NO diving, NO dogs, NO glass, NO entry, NO drinking etc etc.....       ... up the spirits of the passengers as the ship foundered. They kept playing until the water was lapping around their ankles and finished with the hymn "Nearer, My God, To Thee". The memorial named all of the bandsmen and had the music notes for the first few bars of this hymn, as well as the words "They Died at Their Posts like Men." It was really poignant.
