I'm back again! I guess it’s kind of a good sign that I don’t have time to write everyday, right? These past two weeks have been slam packed full, and I am having an absolute blast! I spent four days in Albania and met so many fascinating people, went on the bumpiest (scariest) drive of my life, and of course…ate way too much food.

... was when a shop owner in Greece whose jewellery business is dying gets held up and only has about €5 in the till. The robber then tied him up in the basement and went out to steal things, when a tourist comes in and buys a bracelet for €100. Then the robber cleans the place up and makes a bunch of money from tourists! At the end the owners brother (a policeman) comes in to pick up a ring, eventually finds his brother in the basement ...

... was flooded due to the cistern constantly leaking. I decided I needed to use the other toilet (for a number 2) and realised it wouldn't flush! When T went for a shower, the tap came away from the wall and water spewed out. Also, Albania is the setting from the movie 'Taken'!! Was a good night's sleep. Our tour guide made sure we knew that every Albanian's dream was to save enough money to buy a car... and then to waste their time sitting around drinking coffee. A very upbeat chap! ...

... a bit hair-raising, especially when we eventually arrived in Tirana as nobody takes any notice of lanes and sometimes on a 3 lane road there were 5 cars wide and they just change lanes as they like.
