... right to the ceiling. Stood and watched the astronomical clock chime as it was about to happen. Interesting, a skeleton pulls a rope and model priests come out and dance about while other models play instruments. A bit strange to us but the performance got applause from the crowd. ... only have a 22min connection time so if all goes well after we catch the connection I will relax this will prove to be my stress day of the entire trip. Today it is officially cold and very foggy. The Italians are out in their furs and gold. Sherree and I are out in our Katmandus and baggalini bag; we are the poor cousins in this neck of the woods. I learned my lesson after yesterday really feeling the cold, and today Sherree braved the cold with even more thermal layers wrapping all exposed parts of her body. ... negotiate and we found the correct platform right away, it is Gleis 1. As I said before, this is a Inter City train and it will only stop at 6 or 7 stations between here and Prague. Major stations such as Dresden. It travels through the former east Germany and will move down the track pretty quickly. I am sure glad I chose 1st class, as there is plenty of space for the luggage and the seats were pretty comfortable.
