... We did a visit to the Wayang Museum which is famous for showcasing the Javanese puppets. We were given a tour by one of the puppeteers (i.e. stalked) who of course have something to sell but his work was very amazing and Shirley ended up purchasing two beautiful Javanese puppets. I purchased a small tree of life (Gunungan). Shirley's purchase of two wooden puppets was an excellent price of 500,000 Rupiah which is about 25$ each. They were beautiful. The market in the area ...
... After they were finished with the questions for the class (I assume), they asked if Tania was my daughter. Interesting. Everyone in this country thinks I am only 24-25 (average guess), but that day I'm old enough to have a 15yo daughter. Some people take this whole "adopt and be adopted" too seriously. Ha. We both laugh it out and tell them no and explain and the girl started to blush. I told her no worries and we left.
