    Brixham to Weymouth

... a busy town. Bought Xmas decorations for children and also went to Waitrose to buy some food.Unfortunately the surrounds were very hazy and unable to get photos of the lovely green rolling hills with little villages amongst the trees and sheep and cows grazing in the fields. Took photos of houses etc in Abbotsbury as a quaint village. After a long day's drive reached Weymouth about tea time. Ate at a nice little restaurant called Shelley's ...

... its stone and marble and we saw lots of very attractive stone buildings. We drove on to Swanage on the south east tip of the peninsula (and the eastern end of the Jurassic coast) and went for a long walk on the beach and through the town. It was a pleasant town with white cliffs and sandy beaches.

We then moved on to Lulworth Cove, further west on the Jurassic coast, which was formed approximately 10,000 years ago and ...

... Dene and Paul was able to return some Austin auto parts and purchase some rare parts from the secretary of the auto collector’s club here in the UK. It was worth the drive down.

This area has tons of thatched-roof houses. The guy we were visiting had one. It just looks so cool!

We are staying the night in the closest town, Blandford Forum. This town of 11,000 has been an important market town since the ...

Returned to the Hotel for a bite to eat which proved a challenge in itself. Got into the restaurant at 7.45 and entree was served at 9pm. What a stretch of my patience, something I don't have an over-abundance of at the best of times. Food was good though.

All in all I would not bother returning to Bournemouth. Been there done that.

... to turn on the GPS and made my way to Lymington. Nice little town. Parked up and went for a walk in the village, stopped and had late lunch in Marks and Sparks!!! Home about 6.30 - shower, change and off again, at night, in the rain!!!

Nice little old theatre and terrific show (No Liza Minelli but....) - just what a girl needs.

Leon's day has been spent on the couch!!!! Weather not great.
