    Once again we drove through Hendon, another town in the family history on our way to East Knoyle from where William Ford & his family were sent back to Chicklade because of the "Poor Law"
    Then finally back here to Mere, so we did quite a bit of Family History Tripping but did not find out any extra information, it was just good to be in places where I had family 200 plus years ...

    Early start this morning, on the road by half past seven. Traffic was really heavy for the first half hour after leaving Poole. We arrived at Stonehenge a little after nine. After grabbing some breakfast in the coffee shop we headed into the exhibition hall before catching the bus out to the Stonehenge rock formation.     Since the weather was nice today instead of raining all the time, Chris took me to Bournemouth. Its about 45 minutes away from Lymington depending on traffic and weather conditions of course.

    The drive down to Bournemouth was something else. As we drove through each village or town, the architecture of the buildings changed to keep with the style of each village or town. It was something that I didn't expect.
