      ... Day 3
      With the weather forecast just as bad as the last couple of days, we decided there was little point in trying to tackle the big peaks. So instead we took a walk from Ambleside which took us out of the town and steadily up a valley. At least this time we got some views! It was beautiful in Autumn and we reached a lovely river which we crossed to then eventually circle back to town.

      ... a little nervous so we went really slow, found the cleaners house no problem and then returned to the campsite. Janet also never thought to hold onto either myself or the bike as she chose to clutch the wedding ring instead, just as well I went slow as the hill up to the campsite is very steep and I had visions of her rolling off the back as I'd also taken the top box off.
