... 20 year olds hanging out in what I would call gothic attire. As I was doing laundry they would in turn just scream - not in pain or for help, just like releasing frustration at the world. My thought is maybe they are just trying to scare the tourists - it was beginning to work on me. I finished and ensured I was on the other side of the street with other tourists when I passed this crew. Made it to the hotel, and had a nice club sandwich and beer at the Dominican Hotel. We had another sleep in today, then got ready and went down for a bowl of leftover salad from last night. After a chat with Karina for a while, we headed down to Ledebergplein so Darren could get a Turkish pizza wrap from the Turkish bakery down the road. I woke up at about 2pm, very hung-over from the night before. I knew vaguely where the city centre of Gent was, so once I had a shower I went for a relatively aimless walk. On the way from Brussels, Lynn pointed out the three towers of Gent. Really historical looking buildings which were about a five minute walk up the road.
