Went early to work as i had to but a shirt as the top i worn wasnt suitable, a blouse with no sleeves isnt appropriate for some reason, even tho was told by the manager anything is fine as long as you look tidy!! Bloody fire alarm! We were awoken just before 7am to the sound of the sodding fire alarm ringing in our ears. Not one of us we keen to evacuate justifying out lack of action as "there probably isn't a fire, I can’t see or smell smoke" and “there isn’t even a fire engine outside”, but were told by others in the dorm opposite that we had to get out. We arrive at our accommodation (booked through 'airbnb' - a website we list our spare rooms on - highly recommend) and it is jaw droppingly beautiful. Its a flat in the Lumiere building in central Sydney - incredible views, very cool flat, loads of space for us all and.... a movie theatre for the kids downstairs. They are beside themselves with excitement.

... Boden angekommen. Wir hatten absichtlich ein Hostel genommen, welches uns vom flughafen abholt, aber pusteblume, keener kam,also durften wir die teuere fahrt mit dem Airlink(einem Zug) antreten...einmal umsteigen und dann waren wir angekommen...in Kings Cross...einem sehr zwiespaeltigen Bezirk Sydneys...hat was von der Reeperbahn...multikulturell...assi...to uristisch...nutten...clubs...tuersteher au masse...naja bin ich ja gewohnt aus Berlin.

... der kommunikationstechnisch etwas produktiver ist. Netter Abend, aber ich sitz hauptsaechlich vorm PC und versuch meine Weiterreise zu organisieren.
Am naechsten Tag treff ich mich wieder mit meinen Mitreisenden minus dem Franzosen und wir begeben uns nochmal auf Sightseeing Tour. Town Hall, Queen Victoria Building, The Rocks, einmal ueber die Harbour Bridge laufen und dann ins Museum of Contemporary Arts. Das sehr zu empfehlen ...
