We had booked into an RV park in Maryland, about forty five minutes drive from Washington DC. This park provided a shuttle into the capital every morning in at 9am with a funny old fuddy duddy named Tom, and a pickup from the capital at 5pm with a personality-less old scrooge named Mike. Maybe it’s because the waves aren’t as big at the beaches on the bay or something, but Lewes doesn’t have the crowds of the Atlantic beach ...

    Before the starting gun
