Bye Bye Brugge... Hello London!
... a huge thank you to them both for being such gracious hosts, and for Jaey for inviting me there both times and being so kind and generous.
Alas, it was time for me to catch my train to Brussels then to London. The train ride was uneventful, and actually the eurostar is incredibly efficient. Once I arrived in London at Kings Cross, I met with Jamie/JC (I think I have mentioned him using both his name and nickname) and off we went during rush hour traffic on the tube and the commuter ...
Running errands- like a normal/real person :)

Unfortunately, it was raining the entire day. It wasn't cold but the rain just makes me want to curl up in a ball in a hoodie. And guess what I never thought I would ever want on my trip? A hoodie! HA. I did end up buying one while I was out with Jaey, but it was just funny that as much as I love to plan and think things through so thoroughly you never really can plan ...
Rain Rain Go Away!!!
... also visited with one of Jaey and Djunas set of Grandparents, went to a cafe and Knokke's Christmas Market. The Christmas market was not as impressive as Brugge, since the town is so much smaller the market is also smaller.
In the evening, Jaey, Djuna and I relaxed and watched the Last Airbender. Nothing crazy today, it's been nice to be able to relax and be around people I know. :)

April 22 If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium.
Mmemory moment of the day: napping on my bunk in the afternoon, windows and doors open, drifting in and out of sleep as I listened to a trio of youngsters chatting in Flemish as they cleaned the hallway and other rooms, accompanied by the occasional clank of a bucket being moved and other indefinable rustlings.
Landing on the first day of a trip is interesting. I don't have me sea legs yet ...

My search wasn't what I expected, the waffles was really light and crunchy and only had a little chocolate sauce so I was disappointed but would try again elsewhere before I left - surely this isn't what is so famous.
