I arrived in Warsaw airport and confidently made my way to the hostel like I'd been there before! By the time I reached the hostel it was past 1am, and so I settled down for what was one of my more expensive 'naps' before getting up again at 4:30 to make it to the bus station for my bus to Berlin. It was very cool to get to see, the only slightly disappointing thing is that many of the segments of the wall are covered with graffiti from other “up and coming” street artists (or just plain punks). Supper was currywurst...but street meat currywurst, rather than restaurant-a totally different experience. Final verdict is we both prefer the street meat! (I should add that I've got two packs of currywurst sauce packed in my suitcase to bring home!) The eye spy tour was not our fave. We did ...

... been good to have the guides. There are lots of displays on the side of streets which explain the history of the area. As we left the hotel (which was excellent) we noticed two interesting structures - but we needed to get to the hauptbahnhof so they will have to be investigated next time. One thing that we haven't got the hang of is the U-Bahn (underground, mostly) and S-Bahn (above ground, mostly) - we seem to get lost every time we need to change lines and the stations ...
