walked past Checkpoint Charlie but it’s an ugly tourist trap which completely disrespects what really happened during the cold war. ... Altes museum, both were huge. Onto the museum. Tickets bought, toilets visited, audio guides set and entered the first room where there was the Pergamon Alter. Wow! Hard to capture the enormity of this structure in words. It was built in the 2nd Century BC.
